Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma)
Diploma in Pharmacy is a 2-year course divided into 4 semesters. It has been planned to prepare students to work under the direction of an approved pharmacist in hospitals, public pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical fields.
Eligibility criteria for doing the course is a 10+2 or corresponding qualification in any stream from a standard educational Board. Admission to the course is based on the aspirant’s presentation in an entrance exam, or marks gained in the last succeeding exam.
Duties of a Pharmacy Specialist are: – Making medication for provision and compounding pharmaceuticals, preparing aseptic products, retailing, and record-keeping as obligatory under such Food and Drug Act.
